Digital Screen Showcases

Terms &
Conditions

Clear terms for Art Seen artists participating in public digital screen showcases, including our Europe screen network, London screens, Tokyo Shibuya takeover and our separate Times Square Billboard opportunity.

Important

Art Seen offers visibility-based digital screen opportunities for artists. Participation does not guarantee sales, press coverage, collector interest, social media reach or any specific commercial result.

01
Europe Screens / Selected Cities

Art Seen Europe Screen Showcase Terms

Month-Long Showcase Your artwork will play thousands of times during the month-long showcase.
Full Screen Your artwork covers the whole screen and is not shown as part of a multiple artist display.
Documentation Included Photo and video documentation shot on an iPhone is included.
Visibility-Based This is a public visibility opportunity, not a guaranteed sales or press opportunity.

Art Seen offers curated Europe digital screen showcases for visual artists across selected cities including Milan, Amsterdam and other European locations.

These showcases are designed as public visibility opportunities. Your artwork may appear on digital screens within a wider commercial screen environment, shown in between advertising, branded content, cultural campaigns or other scheduled screen activity.

For these Europe screen showcases, your artwork will play thousands of times during the month-long showcase. The artwork will cover the whole screen and will not be shared as a multiple artist display or split-screen group presentation.

Screen availability, timing, audience numbers, screen condition and final scheduling are managed through third-party screen systems and may vary. We cannot guarantee sales, press coverage, collector interest, social media reach, footfall, audience numbers or any specific commercial outcome from participation.

For Europe screen showcases, participating artists will receive photo and video documentation of the screen display. This documentation is shot on an iPhone and is intended as practical proof-of-display and promotional documentation for the artist to use online, in their portfolio or in their own archive.

Documentation is included, but this is not a professional film production: photo and video documentation will be shot on an iPhone. The final quality, angle, lighting, timing, reflections, surrounding environment and visibility may vary depending on the screen location, weather, access, public conditions and the live screen schedule.

Where any screen reporting, confirmation or play data is available, it may be based on third-party platform information and should be treated as indicative rather than independently verified by Art Seen.

Artwork Submission & Content Standards

All submitted artwork must meet the required format, technical specification and public display standards. Artwork may be rejected or removed if it is considered unsuitable for public display, technically incompatible, offensive, unlawful, misleading, defamatory, pornographic, hateful, violent, discriminatory, politically sensitive, infringing of third-party rights, or otherwise unsuitable for the screen environment.

Artist Rights & Permission

By submitting artwork, the artist confirms that they own the rights to the submitted image or have permission to use it. The artist gives Art Seen permission to prepare, format, upload, submit and display the artwork for the purpose of delivering the screen showcase.

Fees & Refunds

Participation fees are used to secure, prepare and manage the screen showcase opportunity. Once an artist has confirmed participation and the artwork has been submitted, scheduled or prepared for display, fees are non-refundable unless Art Seen decides otherwise at its sole discretion.

This Europe screen showcase opportunity is not refundable because costs are committed in advance for screen access, preparation, administration, scheduling, formatting, coordination and documentation. Artists should only purchase if they understand the nature of the opportunity and accept that participation is a visibility-based screen showcase, not a guaranteed commercial outcome.

Third-Party Screen Delivery

Art Seen works with third-party digital screen platforms, media owners, screen operators and technical systems. We do not publicly disclose the names of all collaborators, suppliers, platforms or delivery partners involved in each showcase.

02
London Screens

London Screen Showcase Terms

Non-Refundable Participation is non-refundable once confirmed, submitted, scheduled or prepared.
No Photo Documentation Photo and video documentation are not provided for London screens.
Shared Screen The screen is shared with multiple advertisers and scheduled screen content.
Variable Plays The number of plays cannot be guaranteed because the screen is shared.

The Art Seen London screen showcase is a separate screen opportunity from our Europe screen showcases, Tokyo Shibuya takeover and Times Square Billboard showcase.

London screen participation is a visibility-based opportunity. Your artwork may appear on a digital screen within a wider commercial screen environment, shown in between advertising, branded content, cultural campaigns or other scheduled screen activity.

The London screen is shared with multiple advertisers and scheduled screen content. Because of this, the number of plays, exact display times, exact playback schedule, audience numbers and impressions cannot be guaranteed.

No photo documentation is provided: artists should not purchase the London screen opportunity expecting photography, videography, live footage, physical proof, influencer content or documentation of their artwork on screen.

Fees & Refunds

London screen participation is non-refundable. Once an artist has confirmed participation and the artwork has been submitted, scheduled or prepared for display, fees are non-refundable unless Art Seen decides otherwise at its sole discretion.

The artist gives Art Seen permission to prepare, format, upload, submit and display the artwork for the purpose of delivering the London screen showcase.

Third-Party Screen Delivery

Art Seen works with third-party digital screen platforms, media owners, screen operators and technical systems. We do not publicly disclose the names of all collaborators, suppliers, platforms or delivery partners involved in each showcase.

Tokyo Shibuya

Tokyo Shibuya Screen Takeover Terms

15-Minute Takeover Guaranteed 15-minute screen takeover on each showcase date.
18:30 Display The takeover is scheduled for 18:30 on each showcase date.
Photo Included Photo documentation of the Tokyo Shibuya screen display is included.
Public Location The showcase takes place in a public, high-visibility screen environment.

The Art Seen Tokyo Shibuya showcase is a separate screen takeover opportunity from our Europe screen showcases, London screens and Times Square Billboard showcase.

For Tokyo Shibuya, participating artists are displayed as part of an Art Seen screen takeover in Shibuya, Tokyo. The showcase includes a guaranteed 15-minute takeover at 18:30 on each showcase date.

Photo documentation is included as part of this opportunity. Art Seen will arrange photography documentation so that participating artists receive an image showing the showcase on the Tokyo Shibuya screen.

The Tokyo Shibuya screen is located in a public, commercial and cultural environment. The screen may be seen, photographed, filmed or shared by members of the public. Because the display takes place in a public location, Art Seen cannot control how the public responds to, captures or shares the displayed content.

Timing is scheduled at 18:30: while the showcase includes a guaranteed 15-minute takeover at 18:30 on each showcase date, delivery may still be subject to local screen operation, technical systems, public conditions, emergency changes or circumstances outside Art Seen’s control.

Artwork Submission & Content Standards

Artists must submit suitable artwork in the required format.

The artist is solely responsible for the artwork they submit. By submitting work, the artist confirms that they own the image or have permission to display it publicly. The artist gives Art Seen permission to prepare, format, upload and display the artwork for the purpose of delivering the Tokyo Shibuya showcase.

Results & Outcomes

Art Seen will make reasonable efforts to deliver the showcase as described. However, we cannot guarantee public reaction, sales, collector interest, press coverage, social media reach, footfall, audience numbers or any specific commercial outcome from participation.

Fees & Refunds

Once participation is confirmed and the artwork has been submitted, approved, scheduled or prepared for display, fees are non-refundable unless Art Seen decides otherwise at its sole discretion.

Third-Party Delivery

Art Seen may work with third-party screen operators, venues, platforms, service providers or production partners to deliver the Tokyo Shibuya showcase. We do not publicly disclose the names of all collaborators, suppliers or delivery partners involved in each activation.

Times Square Billboard

Times Square Billboard Terms

22 Plays 22 guaranteed plays within a 24-hour campaign period.
60 Seconds Each playback lasts 60 seconds.
Photo Included A photo of the Times Square Billboard display is included.
Flexible Timing The exact minute or hour of each playback is not guaranteed.

The Art Seen Times Square Billboard showcase is a separate premium opportunity from our Europe digital screen showcases, London screens and Tokyo Shibuya takeover.

For Times Square, selected artists are displayed as part of a collective Art Seen showcase on a public billboard screen in Times Square, New York.

Each participating artist receives 22 guaranteed plays within a 24-hour campaign period. Each playback lasts 60 seconds. This means your submitted artwork will be displayed 22 times, with each display running for 60 seconds.

A photo of the Times Square Billboard display is included as part of this opportunity. Art Seen will arrange photography documentation so that each participating artist receives an image showing their artwork displayed on the billboard.

The exact timing of each playback within the 24-hour period is subject to the screen schedule, technical systems, third-party screen operation and local conditions. While the 22 plays are included, Art Seen cannot guarantee the exact minute or hour that each playback will occur.

Times Square is a public, commercial and cultural environment. The billboard may be seen, photographed, filmed or shared by members of the public. Because the display takes place in a public location, Art Seen cannot control how the public responds to, captures or shares the displayed content.

Artwork Submission & Content Standards

Artists must submit suitable still-image artwork in the required format. Unless specifically stated in the opportunity details, video files, animated files, overlaid promotional text, offensive content, explicit content, unlawful content, defamatory content, hateful content, violent content, pornographic content, discriminatory content, or content that infringes another person’s intellectual property rights will not be accepted.

Artist Rights & Permission

The artist is solely responsible for the artwork they submit. By submitting work, the artist confirms that they own the image or have permission to display it publicly. The artist gives Art Seen permission to prepare, format, upload and display the artwork for the purpose of delivering the Times Square Billboard showcase.
